Bulkington Village Centre is a charitable company set up in 1996 to take over a former school in the centre of bulkington and develop it into a multi-activity community centre. This unique project has been in large funded by the National Lottery and is now a self supporting centre where all profits are ploughed back in for the benefit of all its users.

The centre has drawn together a blend of statutory and community services on one site. These include a Doctors Surgery, NHS clinic, Police sub-station, Childrens Centre, Nursery and Pre-school. The Centre also provides rooms to hire for conference and training puposes in addition to community groups for social, educational and cultural activities. 

BVC's objectives are to develop a financially self-supporting community centre where all profits are ploughed back in for the benefit of the local community.                                                                                                                       

With thanks to the National Lottery , Awards For All and local funding opportunities, modernisation and expansion of the Centre has been made possible.

BVC currently has a varied programme of activities available suitable for all ages, abilities and interests, ranging from Art classes, keep fit, family history to youth clubs. Please see table below:
